Second instalment in the Daylight Saving series of archival compilations, Ruled By Venus is, once again, an amalgamation of edits, old and new originals, sample-based tracks and other bits and bobs with no adherence to genre, time period, BPM or specific production techniques. A free-spirited, sun-soaked collection of music put together under a loose definition of what the astrological Venus planet could signify aesthetically. Ruled By Venus will be available on BC as a ‘name your price’ release, with 50% of the returns to be donated to Portugal’s foremost antiracist non-profit SOS Racismo; appreciation of a Music should come with an appreciation of its people and concrete action to elevate them.
